Counter
The
Counter will
calculate for you some numbers describing your mailing lists
(e. g. number of addresses within domains, etc.)
Processing Options:
There
are the processing options of the Counter:
- Breakdown by domain. Two sections will be included
into the report:
- Breakdown by Domain (Sorted
alphabetically). In this section all domains encountered
in you input file are listed sorted alphabetically; for
each the number of e-mail addresses is shown.
- Breakdown by Domain (Sorted by amount).
In this section all domains encountered in you input file
are listed sorted in order of frequency; for each the
number of e-mail addresses is shown.
- Breakdown by Mail Services. A section will be
included into the report:
- Breakdown by Mail Services (Sorted
alphabetically). In this section all mail services (listed
at “Options”\“Mail Services”) are listed sorted
alphabetically; for each the number of e-mail addresses is
shown
- E-mail count. The line will be included to the end of
the report: “Total E-Mails count: <N>”
- Open report automatically. The text report file fill
be opened automatically with the application associated in
Windows with .txt files (or other, according to the extention of your Output file).
Processing Result
As
the result, the Counter will generate
and place into the output file a report containing the
sections according to the options you selected.
Here
is a small tip for you. Since the report can be quite large,
it may take long to move from one its section to another. Try
the “Find” command of your report viewer to go to the
following section, using the word “Breakdown” as the
subject.
